Glass Candle Use & Care
Step 1 – Give Your Wick A Trim
Keep the wick nice and trimmed up. Wicks need to be kept at a healthy 0,5 cm length and should be trimmed prior to every burn, including the first one. Long wicks can split and drop debris into the wax. A shorter wick means a better wax pool, which means a better burn. We suggest trimming the wick every 4 hours of burn time. Always extinguish the flame, let the candle cool down and trim the wick before relighting.
Step 2 – Make That Pool Wide
Each time you burn your candle allow the entire top layer to become a fragrant pool of liquid wax and you’ll get the best scent possible. It’s important to let the wax pool reach all the way to the edge of the container. This prevents tunneling and wax waste. Candle jars typically need to burn for 4-6 hours at a time depending the size of jar.
Step 3 – Keep Things Even & Safe
Always keep your burning candle on an even, heat resistant, and sturdy surface. Never burn your candle near anything that can catch fire, keep it out of drafts and keep them out of reach of kids and pets. Never leave it unattended while lit.
Step 4 – Know When To Stop
When there is approximately 1,5 cm of wax left in the bottom of your candle it’s time to stop burning. It’s okay for there to be some wax left over, candles are created with this little buffer of wax. When candles are burned below this level the container can get hot and burn you or the surface your candle is sitting on.
Reed Diffuser Use & Care
Step 1 – Sticky notes
Place the sticks that came with your reed diffuser into the bottle to absorb the diffuser oil . Flip sticks so that the “dry” side of the sticks is now closest to the bottle and the saturated end is in the air. Place unsaturated (dry) end of the sticks into the bottle. Let your reed diffuser naturally permeate your space. Reed diffusers will continue to evaporate into the air, creating a subtle scent.
Step 2 – Keep it flowing
Positioning your reed diffuser near a source of airflow, such as a vent or a window, will help the fragrance spread faster throughout the room. The downside is that this will also decrease the life span of your reed diffuser as oil dissipates at a faster rate. Try placing your reed diffuser away from air conditioning or vents first and see if the scent is sufficient for your own personal tastes.
Step 3 – Please remember
Please use care when placing on wooden surfaces because the essential oils can leave marks. Keep Diffusers Out Of Reach From Children and pets. Diffuser oils are flammable, do not light and keep away from open flame. Always wipe clean the bottom of your bottle before setting on any surface.
Scented Sachet Use & Care
Step 1 – Fill the space
A fragranced sachet is best suited to scent small spaces, The aroma of a scented sachet lasts for approximately 4 months. You do not need to open the sachet, simply place it on a surface and let the fragrance fill the designated space . A small tip – once the sachet has almost lost its scent, open the bag and pour the small beads on the floor and vacuum in to scent the vacuum cleaner.
Step 2 – Safety above all
The scented sachet can damage textiles, wooden and plastic surfaces. If on skin, wash with soap and water. Keep away from children and pets.
Wax Care & Use
Step 1 – Melt Wax
Easily add your favorite fragrance to your home, every day. Simply place a small wax piece into a Bridgewater wax warmer and light a tealight. As the wax slowly melts the fragrance is released. Fragrance Lasts 50-80 hours. Keep away from children and pets.
Step 2 – Clean
If your warmer has been on for some time, the wax will have turned to liquid, so will be much easier to soak up than if it was solid. However, before you start absorbing your wax, let your warmer cool down for a few minutes as the wax and bowl will both still be hot and you could burn yourself. Once the wax has slightly cooled, use cotton wool balls or a paper towel to soak and absorb the wax .Once all of the wax has been soaked up, you can then wipe the bottom of the dish until it is clean and shiny. How regularly you clean your wax melt warmer is really up to you but if you can, we recommend doing so every time you change your wax to make sure no residue from previous scents is left over.
